Botanica’s Unique and Luxurious Magnesium Pedicure Foot Soak

In addition to making your feet and toes look beautiful, pedicures can be an incredibly relaxing way to pamper yourself.  That is, as long as your feet are infused with natural, essential oils and substances during your pedicure.  Unfortunately, many pedicure salons choose to use inexpensive products that are loaded with unnatural fillers and additives that turn the water colors and overwhelm you with fragrances.  In other words, many traditional pedicures subject your incredibly porous feet to a chemical bath that has the potential to affect your entire body.  At Botanica, we make our own foot soaks using magnesium (Epsom salt), essential oils and dried herbs and petals.

The Benefits of a Magnesium Pedicure Foot Soak

Magnesium is an essential macro-mineral that helps to build bones, keep nerves healthy and functioning and assists in producing energy from food.  It is critical in the regulation of more than three hundred different enzymes and reactions in the human body.  It has been known to work wonderfully in treating a variety of ailments and conditions, including headaches, chronic pain, asthma, sleep disorders and more.  Unfortunately, most individuals are incredibly deficient in magnesium.  In fact in some cases, individuals suffering from osteoporosis, depression, diabetes, hypertension, preeclampsia and more have been found to be highly deficient in magnesium.

Magnesium is normally quite difficult for the body to absorb when it is taken orally, but it is very easily absorbed through the skin.  As the body’s largest organ, the skin is able to absorb, filter toxins and deliver important nutrients to the body.  It is also the easiest way to detect whether there is a problem with our body’s health as it is an elimination organ that pushes toxins out when other organs of elimination are over-taxed or burdened.  Skin rashes, eczema, psoriasis, dry skin, acne and other skin issues are normally signs that there are health issues occurring in the body.

Absorbing magnesium through the feet and skin can work wonders.  It is great for relieving stress, reducing muscle aches, increasing insulin sensitivity, improving circulation, increasing nutrient absorption, relieving headaches, healing wounds, reducing duration of respiratory or other illnesses, improving sleep, resolving acne, eczema and other skin problems, relieving joint pain, improving skin hydration and much more.  Even if you aren’t experiencing noticeable health issues, our unique and luxurious magnesium pedicure foot soak can be an unexpected and welcome treat you will want to come back for time and time again.
